Shortly before Hootie Pie joined us I moved Chandebise into Water Culture and he really seemed to like it. In this photo you can see he has several new roots coming on around the top and the roots in the water are, for the most part, green and healthy.
Poche was also doing well in Water Culture with a couple new leaves and new roots. His leave were thick and green and he has loved being in water.
At this point in time I was cycling 1 day wet and 6 days dry and the water I was using was tap water. Despite the tap water, both of my Phals were doing very well. Their original roots were working sufficiently, but beginning to fail, but they were quickly growing new roots that were thick and green with white freckles that indicate good health.
