April Showers, Still No Flowers

Both Poche and Chandebise adapted well to their new pots and somehow, the care I gave them was enough. Their leaves were thick and lush with no signs of dehydration which means their root systems were functioning well. The new leaves that started growing in October were fully grown now.

During this time I continued to try to learn as much as I could about orchids and how to care for them. I also began watching for the ultimate orchid prize: a flower spike. I was denied.

It was around this time that I began wondering if my orchids were getting enough light, so I purchased a grow light to put in my lamp.
